About Dan Burrell
Dan L. Burrell is a native of Moberly, MO. Dan has served two churches as Senior Pastor in West Palm Beach, FL and Charlotte, NC.
Pastor Burrell has always been very active in the field of Christian education and holds three degrees, including a doctorate in Educational Administration, in educational fields. Dr. Burrell was the second president to preside over the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools and succeeded the founding president, Dr. Al Janney. FACCS represented nearly 200 schools and over 55,000 teachers and students during his tenure and is the largest state affiliate in the American Association of Christian Schools. Dr. Burrell has served on the Executive Board of AACS, has co-authored three books on Christian education, has spoken at dozens of Christian educational conferences, lectured and preached at over a dozen Christian colleges and travels internationally to speak on Christian education and preach. He has served as an adjunct professor for Luther Rice Seminary, Atlantic Coast Baptist Bible College, Boston Baptist College and Liberty University. He has served on the Board of Directors for Piedmont Baptist College, Appalachian Bible College, Boston Baptist College and Tennessee Temple University.
He is married to Julie and they have four children, Nathan - a sophomore at Liberty University, Megan - who is aJunior in High School andKatie and Joshua - who are being homeschooled.
